Why Agent Governance Platforms Don't Answer the Cost Question

Microsoft Agent 365, Okta, Cisco, and peers are building important agent identity, access, and security controls. That work is necessary. It is not FinOps. Knowing an agent is allowed to run does not tell you what it cost or whether the outcome beat a human baseline.
Different questions
Governance platforms ask: who, what policy, what risk. Agent FinOps asks: how much, who pays, what return. Treating them as substitutes leaves finance blind.
