Upload General Journal Entries (F2548) template

Verified as of 2026-09-13

Steps

  1. Sign in to the SAP Fiori launchpad with authorization for Upload General Journal Entries (App ID F2548).
  2. Open the app Upload General Journal Entries.
  3. Select Download Template (often lower right) and choose Excel or CSV.
  4. Save the tenant-specific file — columns can differ by release and configuration.
  5. Upload that template into Meridian’s Export Profile wizard (or confirm Meridian’s SAP export against it).

What you should have

Excel/CSV template for F2548 (often flattened header H and item I rows, or spreadsheet sections). Includes company code, dates, G/L account, amounts, and debit/credit indicator depending on template.

Gotchas

  • Always download a fresh template from your system — do not rely on another company’s file.
  • If the app is missing, ask Basis / security to assign the F2548 catalog/role.
  • Public Cloud and on-premise labels are similar; template fields still vary by configuration.
