How to connect a provider
Last reviewed 2026-11-07.
Short answer. Open Integrations. The old Vendors address opens that same page. Connect on a source card asks for a Connection Label and the provider key. A connected card can read Connected · syncing, Connected · no spend received, or Waiting for first sync. A Planned card has no Connect yet.
Open the page
The top nav item is Integrations. The page title is Integrations. The line under it is "Where does my data come from? Where does it go? Connect sources, gateways, and destinations from one place."
/meridian/vendors opens this page. Use Integrations.
The sections are Sources, Gateways, Capacity, Destinations, Observability, and Discovery. A provider key is a Sources card.
Connect
On an available source, Connect opens the form. Connection Label uses the placeholder "e.g., Production Account." Fill in the key the card asks for. Connect sends it. While it sends, the button says Connecting....
Docs opens the connector guide. Get API Key → opens the provider's key page.
After the key is saved, the card says Manage. Sync now asks for a sync. The status line is one of:
- Connected · syncing
- Connected · no spend received
- Waiting for first sync
- Key valid · no spend source
- Sync failing
- Not syncing (no success in 24h)
Dashboard and Analytics say "No sources connected yet" until a source is connected. A card marked Planned has no setup action yet.
QuickBooks and Business Central use Set up and open their own settings pages. They are not the provider-key form.
