How to read Meridian Insights
Last reviewed 2026-11-07.
Short answer. Open Analytics. The tab to read is Meridian Insights, which is findings and monitoring, not the Insights blog. Findings names a cheaper model when one is material, Spending Alerts shows the thresholds already set, and Anomaly Detection flags an unusual pattern. Industry and preferences live on Organization. An empty findings block says No material opportunities identified when nothing stronger was found.
Open the tab
Open Analytics. The title is Analytics & Insights. The tabs are Analytics, Meridian Insights, and Shadow AI. The line under the title on this tab is "Meridian Insights — findings and monitoring."
The blog titled Insights is a separate publication. A question about spend, a finding, or an alert means this tab.
The three blocks
Findings looks for a cheaper model. While it analyzes, it says "Analyzing your spending patterns...". With nothing material, it says "No material opportunities identified" and "We couldn't find stronger model alternatives for your current usage." When there is a finding, the header is "Identified opportunity (capped)" and a monthly figure.
Spending Alerts uses the caption "Stay within budget limits." Anomaly Detection uses the caption "Catch unusual patterns early."
The hero is Meridian Insights. The paragraph is "Meridian findings using Model Intelligence (345+ models) to surface opportunities identified, set alerts, and catch anomalies before they become expensive."
Preferences
Industry and the four preferences (risk tolerance, quality floor, minimum monthly saving, and allowed providers) are on Organization, in the Preferences section below the company profile. When industry is missing, Findings says "Industry isn't set." Set your industry and preferences opens that section.
Setting the budget those alerts compare against is How to set a budget and an alert. A jump that needs the provider key stopped is A runaway agent.
